It is a natural polysaccharide composed of glucose monomers linked by β-(1→3) and β-(1→4) glycosidic bonds, forming repeating units of cellotriose and cellotetraose. The ratio of β-(1→3) to β-(1→4) linkages in oat β-glucan is approximately 3:7.

Application Suggestions
Solubility:
This product shows good compatibility with a wide range of cosmetic raw materials and can be added directly to the aqueous phase during formulation. Under low-temperature conditions (e.g. in winter), a slight white precipitate may appear, which is a normal phenomenon. Simple filtration prior to use is sufficient and does not affect the product’s performance or final application results.
Compatibility:
When the alcohol content in the formulation exceeds 25%, this product does not exhibit good compatibility with alcohol.
Recommended Dosage:
Low-end products: 1–2%; mid-range products: 3–5%; high-end products: 8–10%. Improved performance may be achieved when used in combination with other active ingredients at 80 °C.
